Feature Work
Work done for the Remodeler's Home Tour, October 6th and 7th, 2007.
Description: Susan Kelly Interiors Project
302 19th Street NW, Rochester, MN
This house has "good bones" as designers put it, but in this case they were a bit dry. The homeowner was ready for a total transformation of this sturdy, mid-century home, including a total kitchen renovation. This remodeled masterpiece sports custom-colored Plato cabinets, unique French Lanache range, embossed ceiling, even custom knobs. Living areas are re-invented with locally crafted built-ins, heated tile flooring, walls and woodwork restored, lighting enhanced throughout, silks, oriental carpet, and a chinoiserie bath vanity. Yes, post-war goes panache!
